We recently enjoyed five exciting days at Habitare, Finland’s biggest annual furniture, interior design, and decoration fair. As part of the Helsinki Design Week, it's not only a trade show, but a cultural event to celebrate beautiful, practical and sustainable design and to interact with inspiring people in the field.
Our bright yellow backdrop and Halia logo on the wall attracted people to our stand, just like earlier this year at Maison&Objet and Stockholm Furniture Fair. But what made this event special was that it was our first ever exhibition in Finland, that was open also to the general public.
The center piece of our stand was the Quatro table with Halia warming designed seamlessly into the furniture. Designed in Finland and fully produced in the EU (with links to Portugal, as the name implies), these tables showcase how warming furniture help create comfortable spaces while helping reduce energy consumption and emissions from heating.
And what a great response we received! From professionals to casual visitors, each exchange brought new ideas, honest curiosity and plenty of warmth. It was amazing to witness reactions of surprise, delight and plenty of "Wow, this feels good!", “This is such a great idea!”.
Many of our female visitors wished they could have this in their office tables. With cooling weather restaurant owners were excited about extending the terrace season and offering enhanced outdoor dining experiences. Reseller candidates were ideating how warming tables complement their offering. Children and parents stopping by, with amazement looking at the warming surfaces through a thermal camera. And so much more..
Our team at the show Diana Temer , Jarno Vehmas , Jeru Kuusisto would like to extend their thanks to everyone who stopped by, experienced the warming table, and shared your thoughts. Interactions like these give us energy and remind us of what we do and why.
For us, Habitare was more than presenting a product. It was about sharing moments, exchanging stories, and learning from each other.
